Original Patterns and Primitive Crafts by "PattyePoo"

July 1998
"Mother Liberty"
Around the 4th of July we all think of Amricana dolls. In 1998 PattyePoo was imspired to create a wonderful version of the Statue of Liberty.

This 18" doll features so many intricate touches. From her Sculpy torch, to the ethnic mini dolls in her arms, to her "rusted metal" stars. Stitched across her dress is the poem from the base of the actual Statue.

PattyePoo's "Mother Liberty" is a classic in her own time.

(Sorry, but there is no pattern for this doll. Despite best intentions, the pattern was never completed. The original doll hangs in the Peddler's kitchen among other originals.)
