Renée Plains
Liberty Star patterns are the work of Renée Plains, wife and mother of three sons, from Scottsdale, Arizona.

Renée, was a "fiber art" major in college and has always enjoyed working with textiles including weaving, quilting and doll making. Besides her formal training Renée, had a talent and a tradition as both her mother and her grandmother were talented seamstresses. Her interest in sewing and quilting started early while making clothes and quilts for dolls as a youngster.

Renée, is very experienced as a pattern maker. She was an owner of Cottonwood Creek, a quilt and doll pattern publisher. Her Liberty Star line shows her professional background.

Liberty Star patterns are a great bargain. Each of the patterns we feature include the quilt pattern, a doll pattern and usually some other small item. We love this format and think that you will too.

We'll put our collection of "Liberty Star" patterns on several pages as they are released. We'll start with the first four. CLICK HERE to begin your browsing journey.

And remember, you can order any of these patterns directly from Homespun Peddler. Each pattern has an e-mail click but you can also click here for general ordering information.
